Creamery
Welcome to Jen and Jessie’s Creamery, where delightful flavors and cherished memories blend seamlessly! Originally opened in 2004 as Jenn and Jessie’s Ice Cream Parlor, owners Jeff and Kathy Updegrove lovingly named their shop after their daughters, Jennifer and Jessica. For two decades, the dedicated team turned a simple ice cream parlor into a local treasure.
In 2024, after 20 successful years of spreading joy through scoops of ice cream, Jeff and Kathy decided to retire and pass the torch to their daughter Jennifer. Jennifer, a Penn State University alumna with a B.S. in Food Science, brings passion and a wealth of experience. Ready for a fresh adventure, Jennifer is infusing the creamery with new energy and innovation. She is excited to continue making ice cream memories with her husband, Jake, and their two sons, Luke and William, ensuring that the family legacy remains sweet and vibrant.
We are thrilled to reopen in April 2025 for our 21st season, presenting Jen and Jessie’s Creamery with a fresh look and feel. Our revamped logo, menu, and space reflect our commitment to honoring the past while embracing the future.
